Are you passionate about theatre and eager to be part of a unique, immersive experience? Antic Disposition is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic ushers to join our team for the upcoming promenade production of Romeo and Juliet in historic Bath Abbey.
POSITION: Usher, Romeo and Juliet in Bath Abbey
RATE OF PAY: £15 per hour (£967.50 in total)
DATES: 8–31 August 2024
LOCATION: Bath
About the Role:
As an usher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of this innovative production. Your responsibilities will include:
- Guiding and assisting the audience throughout the performance space in Bath Abbey.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Ensuring the safety and comfort of all attendees.
- Supporting the production team with various tasks as needed.

- Friendly and Approachable: You should have excellent interpersonal skills and be comfortable engaging with the public.
- Reliable and Punctual: Timeliness and dependability are crucial for this role.
- Good Communicator: Clear communication is essential to guide the audience effectively.
- Interest in Theatre: A passion for the arts and an appreciation of immersive theatre experiences.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with other ushers and production staff.

Dates:
Rehearsals: 8, 9, 10 August, 6.30pm–10pm (3.5 hours each)
Performances: 12–31 August, 7.15pm–10.15pm (Monday to Saturday; 3 hours each)
Candidates must be available for all the above dates and times.
